Dragonfly part 1

I have been fascinated by these ancient insects since a I was a wee child. They are so interesting to watch and be around. In South America they believe that when a person dies their soul travels/leaves within a dragonfly. In Swedish they are called Trollslaenda, and in Norwegian Oeyensticker, in German Libelle, in Spanish Libellula...

I am also a passionate swimmer and often find in lakes and rivers that I swim with the dragonflies. They are so beautiful, so magical and varied.

At two turning points in my life I have had dragonflies tattooed on my body in places that are very private and personal. It has been a statement and a marking for me and anyone close to me. A totem animal, a power animal as it were. I can see them when I need to but I can also not.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Chili peppers have been used in cooking for at least 6100 years! From the Bahamas to Peru through the Americas scientists have found evidence. Our chef can not imagine cooking without them and uses them like garlic! Ginger and garlic he uses like onions. They are his trinity.

Luna

This cat lives with me, I am her human. She was born on Beltane (2 May) in 2005 so almost 2 years ago. Went to pick her up on a Full Moon hence the name. She is so dear, so sweet and independent. A very affectionate cat there are a lots of snuggle opportunities and many rituals of being together. When I am in the garden she rushes about, up and down trees and she sniffs about where I am working. Luna will come for walks down the lane and she makes little sounds.

We are companions and she is quite friendly to others as well. Likes people but is wary of kids, probably because of the noise level.

All I can say is: I LOVE LUNA!
