Holger Czukay born in 1938 he is a German musician, who studied with Karlheinz Stockhausen. He is best known for being the co-founder of krautrock band CAN in 1968.

Dario Fo born near Lago Maggiore in 1926, an Italian playwright and director, he won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1997.

Lawrence Ferlinghetti born in 1919 in Yonkers NY, as Lawrence Ferling, a poet and co-owner of City Lights bookstore and publishing house in San Francisco.
Wilhelm Reich born in 1897 an Austrian psychoanalyst. He died in federal prison in the USA where he was incarcerarated for his experiments. He is buried in Maine.
William Morris born in 1834, artist, poet, designer, socialist and founder of British Arts and Crafts Movement.
