Etruscan votive figurine. Have you ever read Etruscan Places by D.H. Lawrence? It is one of his travelogues and one of my first books of that nature which I read as a young teen. I always wanted to visit Etruria after that and finally I did a few years ago. I have gone back each year since. There is something about the Etruscan culture.
