Cornwall calling
I am off to St Ives in Cornwall for a visit to the Tate for the Kenneth and Mary Martin exhibition and other treats like beach walks, the Barbara Hepworth studio and sculpture garden and to see friends as well as film for a new project.
Happy Birthday to my sister Penny!
I do not have any recent photos of her so I will just have to conjure her up in my mind. Since I saw her last she has become a mother to a wee boy called Gabriel and he is full of life! I do hope to see them soon. Perhaps next year a trip to Sweden will happen. I hope so.
Have a beautiful day!

Flesh and Trash and being thirteen
When I was thirteen my father gave me cinema tickets/vouchers to go and see Andy Warhol's Flesh and Trash. From then on my teenage fantasies revolved around Joe Dallesandro including a few others that I will not mention in this post.
He turned me on, that smoothe long hair and lean body. Oh Man!
I am greatful that my dad had such a good idea for a birthday present or I would have missed out in my fantasy life for years to come probably.
Okay that was in Stockholm and in those days anyway, the 70's, very few cineams showed films like that made by artists.
I don't know if he knew what the films were about, but I do remember he included a cute note accompanying the gift, a funny little quip about less trash and more flesh or something like that.
I looked at some photos of Joe D. again today and I still find him beautiful.
Really hot. Delicious.
