Tesoro 2

Tikal in Guatemala is another place I visited which is a highlight in the journey of my life. It lies in a large jungle area in Northeastern Guatemala and Tikal is considered the largest Mayan temple city left standing. Tikal is amazingly well-preserved partly because of its remoteness. It was lovely to be there with so few people around and a great deal of, to me, exotic wildlife. It was a destination for Guatemalan families on day trips to one of their most revered sites. I offered my services in taking photos of whole families lined up grouped on steps and in front of temples. Much like in the USA the Grand Canyon is visited by US families as a "pilgrimage" of sorts. I would like to return and bring a loved one.

Tom Courtenay will be 70, Anthony Burgess would have been 90, and George Harrison would have turned 64!
Serpent Mound is in Ohio, USA. I visited once when I was on one of my many cross-country trips. There are certain things I have set out to do before I die or while I am still alive! One was to visit Serpent Mound.
