Stromboli

Stromboli the vulcanic island in the sea between Napoli and Sicilia is one of those islands like Hydra, Ibiza, Koh Tao, Orkney, Iona, etc. where the energy forces converge and creativity is at its peak. Ley Lines "cover" our globe in a grid and make connections between places, and where they cross the magnetic forces are the strongest. Stromboli is such a place.
I visited when I was pregnant and I know it was a powerful experience for us both.
The island is painfully beautiful and it is scary when you are up by the crater looking in! It is an active vulcano and spectacular to see.
On the journey of my river of life Stromboli was a vital stop.
The bl/wh is of Ingrid Bergman from the film Stromboli by Roberto Rossilini. A smouldering vulcanic film of passion if ever there was one!

Chicago school painter 1941-1997. I have always thought Lamar Peterson would like his work!

I want to thank my bestest oldest friend Paul Martin for sending me a birthday reminder for this Swiss Constructivist painter, one of his favourite!

Long Meg and Her Daughters near Penrith in Cumbria. A dear friend took me one gorgeous day much like the one above. We came over the top over the Pennines with vast views and then afterwards we went through Eden Valley to the lake district.
