April first

After two days of springlike weather and I was even able to sit outside on the garden bench for a while with a cuppa. The cats loved it and were outside most of the two days and nights and would come home with roaring appetites.
Today back to blustery ferocious winds and rain again. April weather which we seem to have year round in these parts.
I wonder if I will ever make friends with the climate here.
On the hopeful side the forsythia is blooming and daffodils too. So there are splashes of happy yellow about. I used to say yellow was the colour of hope.
In the field across there are lambs just born walking on unsteady knobbly legs and spending most of their time nursing. So cute!
The snowdrops are over and primroses have come in their stead.
Who said Spring has not arrived?!
