March as in we march into the future Spring

March. A new month. Harbinger of spring.
March April May are Spring
June July August are Summer
September October November are Autumn
December January February are Winter
Supposedly.
When I step outside I see signs of spring increasing daily.
From snowdrops, to primroses, to small buds filling out, a few pussy willows...
And even if it gets cold again, even if it does snow, we get icy roads and chilly winds spring will eventually arrive. It always does.
That is important to remember.
Like when you fly, on the ground it may be a cloudy even rainy day and then you take off in the plane and you rise above the clouds and low and behold the sun is shining!
I see that as a metaphor for life. Step back. See things from a different perspective and...
In the kitchen window this green chili is slowly turning red as it ripens.
In the garden there are fists of bright red as the rhubarb rises out of the ground.
The pheasant comes daily to eat what drops onto the ground from the birds tapas bar.
The cats go out more and more and have unfortunately started hunting again.
The longer evenings give me more energy.
Spring is the season of hope for me.
