Facing the Storm
Maud Morgan was one of the remarkable persons I met in my life (see Meetings with the Remarkable part 4). She died in 1999 and is buried in Cambridge, Mass. at Mount Auburn Cemetery, one of the most "naturally designed" beautiful parks I know!
She had the great gift of friendship and laughter.

Hello. Just a small correction: Mount Auburn Cemetery was founded in 1831 and was designed by Dr. Jacob Bigelow and General Henry A.S. Dearborn, among others. Olmsted was just a boy at the time.
